About Us

Colin Dendle

 

Colin qualified as a practitioner in 1992.  Since then, he has taught a wide variety of counselling courses from level 2 to level 5.  He is also an External Verifier for the awarding body, CPCAB.  Colin is a member of the Association of Humanistic Practitioners in Britain.  He is a qualified teacher and also a member of the Institute for Learning.

 

Prior to entering the counselling and psychotherapy profession, he was a director of a large, multi-national business magazine publisher where he gained substantial experience of travel and different cultures from around the world.

 

Colin would regard himself as a Humanist with a keen interest in Transpersonal psychotherapy and the work of Carl Jung.

Pauline has a busy private counselling and psychotherapy practice in Colchester and at The Counsel House in Wickford.  She has also successfully taught counselling courses for the last 9 years in further and higher education.  Pauline is an Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and registered with the United Kingdom Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.  She is a qualified teacher and also a member of the Institute for Learning.  Pauline also has a Diploma in Supervision of Individuals and Groups.

 

Pauline has lived abroad for many years in Germany and Norway where she was involved in welfare work. 

 

Pauline initially trained in the psychodynamic approach and has undertaken further post-graduate training in CBT and attachment theory.  Pauline would regard her practice as being Integrative with a strong bias towards attachment.
