Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills

The Certificate in Counselling Skills course is a 30 week course for candidates who want to learn counselling skills to help and support others either in a voluntary or employed  capacity.  It will not qualify you to be a counsellor, but it will give you skills that can be used in a variety of roles and may help you decide whether or not you want to train as a counsellor.  Roles might include key working, care assistant, support worker or teaching assistant.  Areas of work could include mental health, the homeless, substance misuse, education and health and social care.

Two course groups are planned to begin in September 2019:

1.     Tuesday, 17 September 2019 from 10am-1pm for 30 weeks.

2.     Tuesday, 17 September 2019 from 6pm to 9pm for 30 weeks.

The cost for the course will be £550 if paid in full at the time of enrolment.  Alternatively, candidates can opt for our instalment plan whereby you pay a deposit of £260 upon enrolment followed by four monthly payments of £85 in October, November and December 2019 and January 2020.
